A seasoned professional within both the IT & Telecommunication industries with over 15 years’ experience in sales, marketing & business development management roles. A founder & CEO of an online media Internet company that focus in delivering large-scale, premium content video streaming services to Thai people. Previously as Partner Sales Director, he held the responsibility to overseas the entire Microsoft partner ecosystems, which consists of over 1,200 partners that includes from global hardware vendors, system integrators to large local system integrators and local solution providers.
Prior to Microsoft, Kasidit Kolasastraseni was the Director for Sales, Marketing & Alliances for SAS Thailand which won the country award for best performing emerging subsidiary in the world in 2010, Prior to SAS, Kasidit spent 3 years with Total Access Communications PCL or ‘dtac’ in various sales & marketing roles, most recently as the Vice President for Strategy & Business Development Division, heading the 3G marketing efforts and successfully launched dtac’s 3G trial into market in late 2009, and PaySbuy’s managing executive, a wholly owned subsidiary of dtac.
Prior to dtac, Kasidit Kolasastraseni spent 4 years with Microsoft Thailand in a cross subsidiary role, last post as Corporate Sales & Enterprise Strategy Director where during the period, Microsoft’s Enterprise business revenues tripled that brought along greater customer & partner testimonial & acceptance of Microsoft as a serious Enterprise player, also he was a part of Microsoft’s extended management team that won the subsidiary of the year award among Asia Pacific countries in 2004. In the role as Enterprise Strategist for Microsoft, Kasidit headed up various important long term subsidiary projects including Enterprise business planning & Sales excellence initiatives that built upon professionalization of Enterprise sales within Thailand & Infrastructure Optimization initiatives that have now become a key global initiative within Microsoft to assist Enterprises of all sizes to reap the full benefits of Microsoft software.
Prior to Microsoft, Kasidit spent 4 years in both sales & channel management roles for Cisco Systems (Thailand), last post as Territory Account Manager overseeing key distributors & key government accounts with notable wins in the successful bidding of the infrastructure project in Suvarnabhumi International Airport, as well as a part of the account team for TOT’s Y-TEL 1234, then, the largest VoIP win in the world.
Kasidit was born in Thailand, whilst spending most of his academic years in the US & UK. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Assumption University majoring in Information Technology.
